Welcome to Kitty Whiskers! Taking care of your feline friends is my number one priority. Specializing in cat care, I will make sure your cats get the love and attention they need while you are away. Relax and feel secure knowing that your cats can maintain their normal routine without the stress that boarding can bring. I am located in Forest, VA

My fees are based on your location:

* I do not charge per animal, the more the merrier!

Services
Every visit I will:
1. Clean all litter boxes and sweep/vacuum as necessary
2. Feed as directed
3. Stay for at least 30 minutes for play time and cuddle time
4. Bring in mail, newspaper and packages
5. Alternate lighting if requested
* I can water plants as directed but I don't have a green thumb so I can't guarantee anything.
Photos
The most important thing to me is your trust, and in one small way I can provide this is though pictures! I love taking pictures. I will send you as many or as few as you'd like while you're away. I can send texts nightly or at a specified time. Your pet's happiness and you peace of mind is of the utmost importance to me.
Small animals
I will be happy to check on any other small pets you have in the house as well. (Rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, gerbils, hedgehogs, chinchillas, ferrets and pet rocks).
If it is easier for me to keep your cage at my house (for small animals) there would be a minimal charge for my time ($5. per day) They would get lots of play time if needed and they would certainly be loved and taken care of, especially rats!

Reptiles and Amphibians
Since moving to Lynchburg I have learned a lot about reptiles and amphibians and am comfortable taking care of these critters as well. I have taken care of bearded dragons, iguanas and geckos. If you have another kind of reptile I am willing to learn how to take care of them as well.
Although I like snakes, and am not afraid of them, I cannot feed them another living animal (or dead or frozen for that matter). We can discuss care options for snakes.

Chickens
I know a lot of folks in Lexington had chickens but I'm not finding as many chicken owners here in Lynchburg. I didn't know a thing about them before we lived in Lexington. But in the past five years I have learned a lot and, with instructions, I will gladly take care of them as well.
